Text Box: My four book series spinoff of “SECRET AGENT SAM,” which has been in the planning stages for quite awhile, has become a reality.
The series, titled “THE TAKEN,” tells the story of “SAS” hero Cory Pearson’s search for his four younger brothers and sisters from whom he was separated as a child. Following the tragic death of their parents in a PTSD-induced murder-suicide, the five Pearson children became wards of the state. The four younger ones, two boys and twin girls, were subsequently adopted by two different families. Only the oldest, Cory, was left unadopted, and all his efforts to retain some contact with his younger siblings failed. Now, as an adult and with the help of his secret agent wife, Sammi June, and a private investigator named Holt Kincaid, he’s determined to track them down.
The series kicks off in April with “DANGER SIGNALS,” the story of the older of Cory’s two brothers, Wade Callahan. Now a homicide detective in Portland, Oregon, Wade is up to his neck in a search for a serial killer when the department decides to call in a female psychic to help. Wade soon finds his skepticism about Tierney Doyle’s “gift” vanishing, and his own feelings for her changing into something much more complicated, as his serial killer case takes a turn that places both their lives in danger. And to further complicate matters, someone is apparently stalking Wade!

The second installment in the series is “DAREDEVIL’S RUN,” set on a wild whitewater river and featuring plenty of hair-raising adventure and suspense, and romance, of course. Alex Penny and Matthew Callahan were once partners and lovers, but an unspeakable tragedy tore them apart. Now they have a chance to find each other again, if they can only get past the fear, distrust and betrayal—not to mention a killer bent on keeping them apart forever. Oh yeah--and those devil rapids!

Book 3 is in progress as we speak, and is tentatively titled, “LADY KILLER,” and features Wade, Matt and Cory’s baby sister Brooke, and Cory’s best friend from “SAS,” photojournalist Tony Whitehall. It’s unscheduled as of now, but as soon as I have a publication date, you’ll know it as well.

THE TAKEN promises to be chock full of both gut-wrenching emotion and edge-of-the seat suspence—and of course, those guaranteed heart-warming endings—so don’t miss a single installment!
